THE MUSIC FAN'S CHOICE

The NIMA helmet speakers are without question, the best sounding portable Bluetooth speakers I have heard yet

Cogent Audio Laboratory - music lover

UE MEGABOOM

BOSE SOUNDLINK 3

BEATS PILL+

Once again, there is no contest .The results are not even close. The Nima helmet drastically outperformed the UE Megaboom system everywhere except the very highest frequencies. There frequencies are not critical to general sound enjoyment, and difficult to hear in good conditions. oYou would need two or three of the UE systems to match the sound output of the Nima Helmet.  The Nima helmet outperformed the Boss Soundlink 3 system pretty much everywhere. The Nima system sounded more lifelike and exciting, where the Bose system sounded sort of clinical and boring. It is obvious that the Bose system rolls off the bass to reduce distortion from the 4 mini speakers and two passive radiators it uses.  Nima helmet easily outperformed the beats, in the bass, mid bass, and midrange regions, with the Beats Pill having a little better upper midrange and very high frequency output.
